Billy Harold “Bill” Lesley, 81, of Otwell departed this life Wednesday at home with his family. He was born April 11, 1936 in Harrisburg, Arkansas the son of Lovett and Nannie (Deckelman) Lesley. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Bill was a Seventh Day Adventist Church member, enjoyed fishing, reading, auto repair, just “tinkering” with everything, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He served in the United States Navy was given an Honorable discharge December 22, 1962. He is survived by two sons: Robert Lesley of Mountain View, Arkansas and Christopher Lesley of Jacksonville, Florida, two daughters: Lisa Shoemate of Onia, Arkansas and Regina Bonnay of Dundee, Florida, one brother, Joe Von Lesley of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two sisters: Sharon Blagg of Judsonia, Arkansas and Jeannie Chambliss of Jonesboro, Arkansas, nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. The family will hold a Memorial Service on October 15, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. Lake Poinsett State Park in Harrisburg, Arkansas in the pavilion with Military Honors at that time. The family will welcome friends and family from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
