Eldridge Anschultz

Mr. Eldridge “Slick” Anschultz of Bay, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the age of 76. He was born May 1, 1940 in Tuckerman, the son of Homer and Bertha (Ward) Anschultz. Mr. Anschultz was a retired carpenter, and of the Baptist belief. He enjoyed mowing yards, playing poker and dominoes, and helping with his grandkids. Mr. Anschultz was quite a storyteller, as well. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Leroy Anschultz. Mr. Anschultz is survived by three children, Jimmy Wilson of Memphis, Crystal Angeles of Bay, and Sallie Bryant Scott of Memphis; five brothers, Sammie Joe Anschultz of Weiner, Jackie Anschultz of Fisher, Randall Anschultz of Judsonia, Homer Don Anschultz of Fisher, Tommy Anschultz of Bay; two sisters, Gwendolyn Clark of Weiner and Nancy Lynn Kemp of Fisher; five grandchildren, Christian, Adela, Kalie, John-Bryant, and Tyler; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are, Darren Anschultz, Darrell Kirby, Shaun Kirby, Chace McClendon, Randy Anschultz, and Toby Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers are, Steven "Boo Boo' Clark, Jordan Anschultz, Bryan Carter, and Eddie Hewitt. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Monday, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Clark Cemetery.
