Mr. Jack Wallace Carver of St. Cloud, Florida, departed this life on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at the age of 78. He was born September 25, 1939 in Ceredo, West Virginia, the son of Harold and Hazel (Akers) Carver. Mr. Carver retired from the United States Air Force following 20 years of service. After his military retirement, he went on to retire from Westin Hotels and Mississippi Schools. He was a member of the St. Cloud, Florida, Church of Christ. Mr. Carver was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Carver; and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joann (Coleman) Carver of the home; one son, Roger Carver of St. Cloud, Florida; two daughters, Karen Matta and husband, Robert, of San Antonio, Texas, and Anissa Spada and husband, Donnie of Long Beach, California; three brothers, Marshall Carver and wife, Joann of Lake Wales, Florida, Larry Carver and wife, Diane of Huntingdon, West Virginia, and Mark Carver and wife, Susan, of Bedford, Pennsylvania; one sister, Pamela Holcombe of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren, Alexa Matta of San Antonio, Texas, Bradley Carver and wife, Brittany, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Sammy Spada, and Max Spada, both of Long Beach, California; many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Beedeville Church of Christ, with interment in Eightmile Cemetery.
