Jimmy Dale Church

Mr. Jimmy Dale Church of Hot Springs Village, formerly of Swifton, departed this life on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the age of 53. He was born July 9, 1964 in Newport, the son of Jimmy and Wilma (Scott) Church. Jimmy Dale was a 1982 graduate of Swifton High School. After high school, he worked at Norandal several years as a machine operator, and was of the Protestant Faith. Jimmy Dale enjoyed NASCAR and fishing, but especially loved spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Church. Jimmy Dale is survived by his wife, Stacey Wood Church; his mother, Wilma (Scott) Church and her companion, Julian, of Hot Springs Village; four children, Chad Church and wife, Emily of Newport, Scott Church of Hot Springs Village, Heather Arnold and husband, Kagan, of Fisher, and Brittany McComb and husband, Joe of Tuckerman; one sister, Michelle Fisher and husband, Jake, of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Caden Arnold, Kymber Arnold, Talun Dennis, Chloe McComb, Rowena McComb, and Oliver Church; three nephews, Hunter Smithee, Seth Fisher, and Caleb Fisher; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Sunday, 2:00-5:00 p.m. Arrangements by Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.
