Patsy Pounders

Mrs. Patsy Ann (Freeman) Pounders, 73, formerly of Harrisburg departed this life Friday at her residence in Hardy. She was born December 21, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of James Newton and Elsie (Bell) Freeman. Patsy was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bay Village. She enjoyed reading, camping, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Renea Pounders, and one sister, Louise Freeman. Patsy is survived by one son, Lynn Pounders also of Hardy, three brothers: James Larry Freeman of Memphis, Tommy Freeman of Waldenburg, Arkansas, and Jerry Freeman of Little Rock, Arkansas, three sisters: Kathy Plessinger of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Karen Crawford, and Ginger Moore both of Bay Village, Arkansas, six grandchildren: Andy Casalman, Randall Casalman, Amy Casalman, Glen Dugan, Courtney Summitt, Dylan Sefers, eight great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday @ Jackson’s Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be Tuesday @ 2:00 P.M with interment in Bay Village Cemetery. Pastor Shawn McElhannon will conduct the service and the following will serve as active pallbearers: Shane Bell, Timmy Bass, Kenneth Bass, Glen Dugan, Duane Bell, and Jonathan Pierce.
