Ruth (Ruthie) J. Draper, 86 years old, of Fontana, passed away on July 5, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born to Ernest and Esther Veglahn on April 9, 1933 in LaCrosse, Wisconsion.

After graduating high, Ruthie went on to pursue a career with the department of agriculture and later with Veterans Affairs. Her hobbies included sewing and quilting as well as being an active church member and a member of other charitable organizations.

Ruthie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel K. Draper and son Robert A. Brown. She is survived by her son David A. Brown and daughter Julie A. Brown.

A visitation will be held for Ruthie at Ingold Funeral & Cremation on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 9:30-10:30am. Immediately following at 11:31am will be her committal service at Riverside National Cemetery.
