Donald Morton

Donald Jackson Morton, 83 of Hemet, California passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was born on Tuesday, December 12, 1933 in Hemet, California to the late Delancy and Maddeline Morton. Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Morton; four children, Marjorie Johnson, Donna Wright, Kathryn Morton, and Thomas Morton; six grandchildren, Tabitha, Craig, Katie, Tommy, Tiana, and April; two great grandchildren, William and Lily; and two brothers, Douglas and Richard Morton. Donald was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting, as well as weekly trips to the trap club. But even more than his love for the outdoors, was his love for family and friends. Donald was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. A Funeral service will be held at 9:45 AM on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, California 92518. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at McWane Family Funeral Home, located at 350 N San Jacinto Ave, Hemet, California.
