Kathleen “Pat” Rogers, 89 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was born on Thursday, October 13, 1927 in Southampton, England. Pat is survived by her four children, Tom Rogers, Charles Rogers, Barbara (Mac) McNeilly, and Linda Randall; two sisters, Penny Toogood and Janet Elliot; and five grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, John Rogers, in 2002, her brother, William Toogood; and sisters, Irene Graham and Betty Burns. Pat was a devoted woman, both to her family, and to her church. She volunteered for 40 years at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Long Beach, CA as well as the Long Beach Thrift store benefitting Cystic Fibrosis research. Pat also often assisted her husband at Golden West Broadcasting with promotional events for the Los Angeles Angels and Rams. In their leisure time, Kathleen and John cruised all over the world spanning the last 25 years of their marriage. But most of all, Kathleen loved her family. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Kathleen was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her. The family will hold services privately. Interment will be held privately at Riverside National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, John.
