Robert "Bob" Walker Obituary

Robert "Bob" Walker, 69 of Menifee, California passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. He was born on Wednesday, June 4, 1947 in Pasadena, California to Orville and Theresa Walker. Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl Walker, his son, Curtis (Courtney) Arias-Carpenter, three step-children, Jacob Knapp, Cheri Knapp, and David Knapp, two grandchildren, Liliana Arias-Carpenter and Rafael Arias-Carpenter, and one sister, Judy (Mike) DeLisle. Bob served our country honorably in the US Army from 1966 until 1968. After his military service, Bob was a proud Feeder Driver for UPS for 32 years where he earned many distinguished awards for exemplary safety. Bob loved to be on the road. When he wasn't driving a truck, he and his wife were traveling all over the country in their RV. His two favorite destinations were Alaska and Hawaii (by cruise). Bob also loved his quiet time, and was known for sitting down to enjoy a good book, or to work on a crossword puzzle. But Bob's true passion was for people. His desire for every day of his life was to put a smile on the faces of the people he met. He was very good at accomplishing that goal. Bob was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
