Obituary was reviewed and approved by the family: Maria Catalina Lugo, 72 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. She was born on Saturday, November 25, 1944 in Agua Caliente, Sinaloa, Mexico, and was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rafaela (Arredondo) Murillo. Catalina was married to the love of her life, Marcelino Lugo for over 44 years. She loved her family and caring for her boys. Grand children, nieces and nephews were very Important to her and she spoiled them any chance could. Catalina and Marcelino enjoyed traveling around the country and Mexico visiting family and friends. She loved to cook and feed family and friends when they came over, no one was ever hungry. Catalina was known to enjoy her coffee every day. Her family describe her as always happy, a unique sense of humor and a special ability to relate to the young and old. Catalina enjoyed life so very much. She will be sorely missed by those that knew and loved her. Surviving is her husband Marcelino Lugo; sons Marcelino Lugo Jr.,( Adriana); Daniel Lugo (Diana); brothers Felipe Murillo (Rosalva); Lalo Murillo ( Blanca), and sister Rosa Beltran; grand children Isaias, Areli, Sofia, Natalia, Katelyn, Stacy. A visitation will be Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary Hemet California 1501 W Florida Ave, Hemet Monday, October 23, 2017 4:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00PM. A Funeral Service will be at Miller-Jones Mortuary Hemet on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 10:00 AM Internment will be private. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.miller-jones.com
