Iluminada Rothgarn
July 22, 1921 - March 12, 2019

Iluminada (the one who illuminates).

She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend.

She spent her life caring for her own family as well as her pre-school family with kindness, joy and devotion. She could light up a room with her cheerful presence and was often the life of the party. The world has lost a beautiful light, but her soul now illuminates the angels.

Iluminada (Lumita) Maria Irizarri-Tejeras-Rothgarn, wife of the late Donald Hubert Rothgarn, passed away March 12, 2019 at the age of 97.

Don and Lumita, as she was known, were charter members of The First Baptist Church of Van Nuys, where Lumita ran the Children's Nursery.

They continued to attend at Rocky Peak and Shepherd in order to stay connected with their many friends. Donald passed away in 2006 at age 91.

The funeral service for Lumita will be held Thurs. March 21, 2019 at 1 PM. at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen St., Chatsworth, CA 91311
