DELGADO JR., CAMILO Born July 4, 1930 in Tivoli, Texas, to parents Camilo Sr. and Isabel Delgado, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on April 9. 2014 in North Highlands, California, surrounded by his blessed family. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Daniele Delgado; Son, Richard “Ricky” Delgado of Miami, FL: Daughters, Linda Shaw of Sacramento, CA and Sylvia Delgado (Darlene Gillespie) of Sacramento, CA; Granddaughters, Bettina Shaw of Stockton, CA (Corderold Ford) and Celena Walker of Sacramento, CA; Great Grandson, Baby CJ of Stockton, CA. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Manuela Delgado Guevara, Alejandra Delgado Gonzales, Guadalupe Delgado, Tomas Delgado, Enrique Delgado and Lucia Delgado Poffinbarger. He is survived and preceded in death by many cousins, nephews and nieces. He served in the Air Force for 20 years, 8 months and 13 days dedicated to the military police and continued his dedication as a civilian at McClellan Air Force Base with the security police for another 20 years. He loved to fish, especially with his wife. He spent many years protecting the Kokanee. He was fiercely dedicated to his family. Services will be held on Thursday April 17 at 0:00 pm at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, located at 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA, 95620. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association or the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.
