Adrean Wayne Sturgess, 58. Adrean was a resident of Alamosa, Colorado. He passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019, in Alamosa, CO. He was born on April 22, 1960 in Altus, Oklahoma, to Darrell Wayne Sturgess and Margie Louise “Murray” Sturgess. He grew up in Walters, OK, and graduated from Walters High School in 1978. Adrean enjoyed being outdoors his entire life. Growing up, he was very involved in FFA and rodeo. Later he found a love of driving 18-wheelers throughout the country, especially in New Mexico and Colorado. He also loved cookouts while spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his three children Megan (Jeff) Day, Meredith (Kody) Franklin, Garrett (Jillian) Sturgess and ten loving grandchildren all of Oklahoma. Brother, Kevin (Denise) Sturgess of Odessa, Texas. Present wife, Patty “Sehon” Sturgess of Alamosa, CO. Several step-children and many friends. Adrean is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Murl and Elsie Sturgess of Tipton, Oklahoma, and Thomas and Rose Murray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
