Starla Rene Miller, 56, passed away Sunday February 10, 2019 in her home in Manassa, CO. Starla was born in Denver, CO to her parents Berne and Helen Jones on November 28, 1962. She married her husband Ed Miller in September 13, 2005. Starla attended Trinidad State College where she received a business degree. She spent her down time tending to her dogs and creating jewelry. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother who was dedicated to her son and a cherished daughter. She is survived by her parents Berne and Helen Jones of Lamar, MO; husband Ed Miller of Manassa; son Dustin Jones of Fresno, CA; two grand-daughters and a grand-son; Sister Holly Jones; and niece Mallory Schratt. The family has chosen cremation and a private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa.
