Barbara A. Snook, 77, of Broomfield, Colorado, died suddenly on March 4, 2012. She was born on December 28, 1934 in Boulder, CO. She attended Boulder High School, Redlands University in California, and the University of Colorado. She once worked as a drafter, but her passion in recent years was writing Mystery Novels. She was a member of Sisters in Crime, and most recently the 93rd Street Irregulars.
She wrote, "Sometimes my heart soars and sings with the excitement of the promise of dreams still dreamed, hopes still hoped. My eyes see farther than the mountains, beyond the horizon and something within me longs for, reaches out for that which only the heart and soul can see. My voice longs to sing that song welling up in my breast. My whole being longs to be 'on with it'!"
She loved Christmas, roses, iris, tulips, family, and babies.
She was preceeded in death by her mother Bertha, brother John, sister Mary, neice Carol, and nephew Harry. She is survived by her husband Bill, daughters Shari, Karla, and Lori, son Keith, son-in-law Rodney, daughter-in-law Lea, grand-daughter Lauren, sister Donna, brother Bill, sister-in-law Sandra, brother-in-law Glenn, and many neices and nephews.
