Meghan (Foster) Joule, was born July 29, 1978 in Minneapolis, MN and passed away October 26th, 2011, at age 33, after a fearless 5-year battle with synovial cell sarcoma.
She graduated from Broomfield High School, University of Northern Colorado and the University of Phoenix. She held a teaching license in Middle-School English and a Masters in School Counseling. She was employed by Shadow Ridge Middle School and actively taught through September of this year.
At Shadow Ridge, she met her loving husband, Barton. They were married September 16, 2006. On October 15, 2010, she gave birth to triplets, Kesleigh, Preston and Gavin. Her amazing and loving spirit lives on in them.
The family is blessed and amazed by the outpouring of tributes to Meghan. She touched the lives of so many through her cancer and pregnancy blogs. Meghan was a source of strength and encouragement to people around the world. Those that knew her personally will forever remember the passionate teacher she was; her unending positive attitude, determination, compassion and love. Meghan’s heartwarming smile and amazing twinkle in her eye will never be forgotten.
Meghan is survived by her husband, Barton, children Kesleigh, Preston and Gavin, parents Mary Ann (Steve) O’Meara, Mike (Marilee Hammond) Foster, brother Mike (Jenn) Foster, Grandmother Dorothy Foster.
Meghan is also survived by the extended families of O’Meara, Foster, Branowitzer, Joule, Hammond, and Swedberg . She was dearly loved by so many.
