Ronald (Ron) J. Fenolia, 87, died June 9, 2011.
He was born September 28, 1923 to James and Celia Fenolia in Louisville, CO.
Ronald completed primary and secondary education in Louisville.
He served in the Army Infantry in France during World War II and was awarded Purple Heart and Bronze Star citations.
He graduated from Colorado A&M (CSU) in Agricultural Economics and then worked as an agricultural loan officer for the Farmers Home Administration and as an economic development loan officer for Small Business Administration, for more than 30 years. He also served as a Vice President for Silverado Savings.
A longtime resident, he settled in Broomfield in 1957 where he resided until his death. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was active in the Chapel of the Holy Comforter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Fenolia, children, Kathy (Dennis) Peterson of Commerce City; Patricia (James) Depperschmidt of Littleton; Robert (Charlene) Fenolia of Conifer; Bill Rame of Estes Park, Bruce Rame of White Oak OK, Steven Rame of White Oak OK, Vickie (Phil) Gregory of Frederick, Jack (Roxanne) Rame of Brighton, grandchildren, James, Richard, Nichole, Jacob, Levi; Michael, Brandi, Cheyenne, and Brooke, great-grandchildren, Christopher, Zach, Shannon, Nathan, Alex, Andy, Orion, Leo, Naomi, Aayleiha, Alexis, Ashley.
Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of the Holy Comforter (Broomfield) Wednesday, June 15 at 3:00pm with following reception, and internment at Green Mountain Cemetery (Boulder) at 6:00pm. Additional information can be found at Rundus.com.
