Alyce May “Dunbar” Wenninger, age 93, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on July 27, 2011. Alyce worked in the medical industry as an LPN and Chaplain for Memorial Hospital here in Colorado Springs. Mrs. Wenninger was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance where she loved to worship on Sundays. She is survived by two children; a daughter, Dawn Hardison of Aurora, Colorado and a son, Paul Wenninger of Sarasota, Florida, a brother; Reverend Robert G. Dunbar of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Alyce is preceded in death by her loving husband, Reverend Joseph C. Wenninger and both her parents; Roy Spencer and Esther Dunbar. Visitation will be Monday, August 01, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 1, 2011 at Light House Temple, 121 North 32nd St., Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, 757 South Sante Fe, Fountain, Colorado.
