Amelia (Millie) M. Nestor August 25, 1917 - January 8, 2011 After being the life of the party for 93 years, our Millie danced into the presence of our loving Lord and Savior. She was born in Fremont, Nebraska to Pete and Hanna (Henningsen) Jensen. She was married to Albert Nestor December 15, 1941 in Hastings Nebraska and had 2 sons. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1957 where she worked at JC Penneys for 8 yrs. and owned and operated Millie's House of Beauty for 33 yrs. She was a long standing Golden Age member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #143 and a member of the Women's Auxiliary. She is survived by her loving and loyal companion of 17 years, Vincent Marquez and their dog Bubba. She is also survived by her two sons, Roger and Mike Nestor, two daughter in laws, Trudy and Lori, three grandchildren and spouses, Jesse and Stephanie Nestor, Kimberly and Dave Hensley and Scott and Tara Nestor, four great grandchildren, Kassity, Shelby, Micah, Aden and one on the way. A Party of Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #143 on Saturday, January 22nd at 12:30 pm. at 1050 S. 21st Street. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pikes Peak Eagles #143 Alzheimer's fund.
