Arnold Ferrero

Arnold Charles Ferrero passed away peacefully on January 16, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 15, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Charles and Grace Ferrero. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved son David Scott Ferrero. He is survived by his wife, Shirlee D. Ferrero and daughter Suzanne Ferrero both of Colorado Springs along with stepchildren Valerie (Steven) Berger of Maryland and Clay (Deanna) of Texas. He is also survived by his sister, Arlene Waldo (Donald) of Aurora, Colorado, granddaughters Brianna Ferrero-Dilks, Miranda Ferrero and daughter-in-law Michelle Ferrero. He had a large extended family and friends whom he treasured deeply. Arnold was a former member of Assumption Catholic Church of Welby, Colorado. He served with the Colorado State Patrol for 31 years. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 23 from 4-7 PM with a Rosary service beginning at 6:00 PM at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, January 24th, 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 3122 Poinsetta Dr., Colorado Springs. Interment will follow at Crystal Valley Cemetery in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
