Barbara Jean Bunce died, June 21, 2014. She was born in Emmetsburg, Iowa on September 27, 1937 to Pearl & Grant Forrest, who are deceased. Barbara was raised in Jewel, Iowa and moved to Colorado Springs in 1953. She graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1955. Barbara retired from Sinton Dairy in 1994 but had been an Avon Rep. since 1958, achieving the Honor Society and President's Club status. She belonged to Beta Sigma Phi Society and also the American Business Women's Association. She was a big Bronco fan. Preceding her in death was her husband Lloyd Bunce, brother Don Forrest of Woodland Park and son David Jackson of Orlando, Florida in 2012. Surviving are two sons from Colorado Springs - Danny (Roberta) and Donald (Loretta) Jackson; Also surviving is step-daughter Susan (Joe) Youren. Other survivors include sister-in-law Rose Forrest, two nephews, one niece, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Family was very important to Barbara and she always treasured her friends. Her life philosophy was "You always let people know you care". A visitation will be held at the Evergreen Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, 9:00 - 10:00 AM, June, 30, 2014 followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
