Beverley DISCH Obituary

Beverley B. Disch passed away in her home on Oct 26 2017. She was 91 Years old. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 64 plus years. Beverley was an educator with District 3 in Widefield for 30 years and retired in 1991. Beverley was born August 19, 1926 in Black Creek, Wisconsin to Ivar A and Rozella K Bergsbaken. She is survived by three daughters, Sarah DeTar(George), Martha Miller(Larry), Laura Bandeko(Bobby Romero) and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Disch and one son, Jeffrey Disch. Beverley was a tireless volunteer and served as a long term President for the Old Colorado City Historical Society. She also loved to travel, attended the symphony and Theaterworks. She was politically active in many causes that included an appointment by Gov. Romer to serve on the Colorado Commission for Women. A special Thank You to Jane Paul, Bobby Romero and Curtis Miller for their constant care and companionship given to Beverley as she got older. A memorial service will be held on Nov 12, 2017, 2:00pm at the Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS), 1 S 24th St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the OCCHS.
