Blandina Jahn Obituary

Blandina "Betty" Jahn went peacefully to be with the Lord on July 11, 2014. She was born in Scipio, Kansas on January 30, 1917 to Matthew and Anna Rockers. Blandina was a member of the Moose Lodge, a lifetime member of the Eagles Auxiliary 143, and a member of the Ute Lakes Fishing and Recreation Club. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin. Blandina was preceded in death by her late husband Cornelius, 2 sons, Carl and Michael, a sister Georgina, a brother Joseph and a granddaughter Brittany. She is survived by her daughter Theresa Caserio (John), son Dennis, daughter Debbie, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Our mom, our Nonie will be dearly missed, but we will have comfort in our hearts knowing she is at peace. We would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Namaste for the love and care they gave her. They were like family to her and us. Their kindness was very appreciated. A rosary will be said on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 9:30 at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church followed by a mass at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Namaste Alzheimer's Care Center. Arrangements are in the care of Evergreen Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, CO.
