Charles Weaver Obituary

Charles Herbert Weaver Sr., 81 passed away Sunday June 25, 2017 at his home. He was born and raised in Troy, Indiana, the son of Carl and Loretta Weaver. Mr. Weaver is retired from the United States Air Force having been stationed in Germany, Wichita, KS., Las Vegas, NV., and Iowa City, IA. After retiring from the US Air Force, he moved to Colorado Springs and opened a BBQ catering business known as Choo Choo Charlie. He had a passion for restoring classic vehicles, loving his family and sharing his wonderful sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret, sons Mike and John. He is survived by daughters, Theresa Hughes and husband Steve of Eastland, Texas, Jenny Doweidt and husband Ron of Biloxi, MS., Son Charles Weaver Jr. of Colorado Springs. He also leaves behind a brother, Joe Weaver of Trinidad, CO. a sister, Barbara Brophy and husband Tom of Culver City, CA., and brother Jim Weaver and wife Virlee of Zionsville, IN. Grandchildren, Keith Salamy of Bryantown, MD., Jonathon Weaver, and wife Maggie of Omaha, NE., Crystal Weaver and husband Jeremy of Woodland Park, CO., Allison Northrop of Gaithersburg, MD.,Great Grandchildren, Dutch Weaver of Woodland Park, CO., and Collin Northrop of Gaithersburg, MD. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, June 29 from 6 – 8 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 30 at 10 am at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO.
