On June 27th Cheryl Freeman lost her 5 year fight with cancer. Cheryl was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Freeman, and is survived by her 6 children: Jeremy, Barret, John, Mike, Jennifer and Stephanie, her 9 grandchildren: Jessica, Xavier, Jordan, Dakota, Renae, Caleb, Whitney, Roan and Inara, her mother Nancy Richey, and her 3 brothers and 4 sisters: Shirley, Charla, Shelley Sharon, Scott, Bill and Jimmy. There will be a public viewing at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 East Fountain Blvd on Friday July 3rd at 11AM followed by a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery starting at 1:30PM with reception to follow at Rosewell Church, 2728 Beacon Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80907 from 2PM to 5PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Cheryl Freeman’s name.
