C.M. Harrison, 81, entered Eternal Life on February 6, 2012. C.M. was born to
Clinard and Hettie Harrison on June 21, 1930 in Lenoir, North Carolina. He
graduated from Appalachian High School in Boone, North Carolina in 1949.
Immediately following graduation, C.M. joined the U.S. Army where he served for
the next 20 years, retiring in 1969 with the rank of Master Sergeant, E- 7 grade.
After retirement he worked for OAO Corporation as a computer specialist until the
early 1990's. C.M. devoted the majority of his retirement years to serving his
community through Ecumenical Social Ministries, Interfaith Hospitality Network,
the Marion House Soup Kitchen as well as numerous ministries at First Lutheran.
He was also a long-time member of the Men's Breakfast Bible Study. He is
survived by his stepson, Sammy Harrison, daughter-in-law Chang, and step
grandchildren Judy and Joshua all of Colorado Springs. He is preceded in death by
his parents and wife Jum Boon Pak. A Memorial Service will be held at First
Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, on Wednesday,
February 15, 2012 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Memorial Fund at First Lutheran Church
