Constance Dovenspike Obituary

Connie Dovenspike passed away at her home on August 6, 2019. Connie was born to Vincent and Wilma Cornett on July 24, 1944 in Kentucky. Connie married Terry Dovenspike on November 6, 1975 and they built a home in Falcon Colorado. Connie supported her children in 4-H as a leader in many projects, but her favorite was raising Holland Lop rabbits. She cheered for her children and grandchildren through all their sports adventures and hobbies, and celebrated in all of their successes! Connie also loved to hunt and water ski. Connie was preceded in death by her father Vincent (Smoky) Cornett, mother Wilma Cornett, and brother Steve (Melinda) Cornett. She is survived by her husband Terry Dovenspike and three children; Shelley (Jim) Ettleman, Luke (Beth) Dovenspike, and Jake Dovenspike. Connie was also blessed with five grandchildren; Dustin (Samantha) Abshire, Justin (Kylie) Abshire, Brandon Ettleman, Cheyenne Ettleman, Hunter Dovenspike, and five great grandchildren. Connie is also survived by one sister, Cathy (Ken) Toms of Montanta.
