Cynthia M. Griess, age 54, a resident of Colorado Springs, passed away April 5, 2011 in Colorado Springs. Cynthia was born February 27, 1957 in Germany, a daughter of Rodney Wayne and Alida Marrero - Ramo Pierce Sr. Cynthia had worked as a supervisor at Nexgen Pharmaceuticals in Colorado Springs. She is survived by her husband, Charles Griess; mother, Alida Pierce; two children, Cody L. Griess and Justin C. Griess; sister, Alida Y. (Larry) Marshall of Hendersonville, North Carolina; brother, Rodney W. (Robert J. Miller) Pierce, Jr. of Boulder, Colorado; grandson, Justin C. Griess, Jr. and nephews, Christopher Pierce Miller, Travis Marshall and Jason Marshall. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, April 8, 2011 and 3:00PM until 8:00PM on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel.
