Debra Harris

Debra Ann Harris November 17, 1959 – February 10, 2012   Debra Ann Harris, age 52, a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on February 10, 2012 in Colorado Springs.  Debra was born November 17, 1959 to the late Donald Dugan and Doris Hoffman in Mankato, Minnesota.  She served in the United States Air Force from 1978 to 1992 and worked in family day care from 1992 to 2004.  Mrs. Harris has worked for DECA since 2004.   Debra loved spending time with her children, taking care of her dogs, scrapbooking and crocheting.   She is survived by her husband, Walt; children, Jeremy (Yumi) Harris of Phoenix, Arizona, Nicole (KT-special friend) Harris of Colorado Springs and Walter Harris of Colorado Springs; sister, Darlene (Galen) Archerd  and brother, Dwayne (Suzie) Dugan both of Mankato, Minnesota; Myron (Bobbie) Harris, Cathy (Rev. Clifford) Wilson of Indianola, Mississippi; Debra (Danny) Roberts of Rockhill, South Carolina and Roosevelt (Lisa) Harris of Jacksonville, Florida; several nieces and nephews and soon-to-be grandchild.   She was preceded in death by her brother, David Dugan and parents Don Dugan and Doris and Joe Hoffman.   Memorial Services was held at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church, 4318 N. Chestnut Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
