Obituary
Delwyn Glen Fisher, 70, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1968, passed away on August 25, 2011. Delwyn was born on March 15, 1941 at Walla Walla, Washington, a son of the late, Glen R. and Irene Kennedy Fisher. He graduated from Walla Walla High School. After high school he joined the Army and was sent to Germany where he met his future wife, Elfriede Berta Esenwein, they were married in 1962. Delwyn was a member of Sunnyside Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping and boating. He was the former owner/operator of Pikes Peak Floral. He was also a retired painter. Delwyn is survived by his wife, Elfriede, 3 daughters, Kimberly (Marcos) Mendivil, Acacia Fisher and Alissa Fisher, a sister, Cheryl (Lyle) Lutton and her family. He was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Fisher. Visitation from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Funeral services at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 29, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs. Memorial donations may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice 825 E. Pikes Peaks Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
