Dennis Keck

Dennis Ryger “Doc” Keck age 58, passed away Sunday, March 20th, 2011…(under the Super Moon)…after a fall on Saturday night. Dennis was born October 12, 1952 in Phoenix Arizona. He was the son of Robert Ryger Keck and Lahoma Moreland. He grew up in Goodyear, Arizona with his sister, Janet Denene Keck (Davis). While still in grade school, his family moved to Phoenix. After Graduation, he went to Mesa Community College; then joined the Air Force as a Radio Technician. He had specialized training to become a Satellite Technician and was stationed at Misawa, Japan; Osan, South Korea and Camp Zama, Japan. After 12 years in the Air Force, he worked in California on B-1 Bombers. In 1985, he was offered a job at NORAD by American Satellite Company (now General Dynamics) to maintain the satellite communications. He married Patricia Ann (Fox) Russell August 8th, 1987 in Fort Plain, New York, where she grew up. They lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado with step son Brian Christopher Russell and in 1989 son Jason Anthony Keck was born. Dennis received a heart transplant March 28th, 1994 at the University Medical Center in Tuscon, Arizona. That gift of life blessed us with 17 years more together.
