Doris Leona Moe Langness passed away peacefully in her sleep October 24, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She was born May 9, 1921, to Gilbert E. Moe and Selma Oftedahl Moe in Bemidji, MN. She married Wilfred Langness on April 10,1943. He preceded her in death.Also preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers: Lawrence, Norman, Chester and Clifford Moe, two sisters, Mildred Clay and Gladys Burley, one daughter-in-law, Rosemary Atkinson Langness and one grandson, Marcus Langness.Surviving are her eleven children: Gene (Marlene) Langness, Clifford Langness, Carol Johnson, Allan (DeeAnn) Langness, Valarie (Steven) Blomquist, David (Jean) Langness,Wayne (Diane) Langness, Kerry (Patti) Langness, Timothy (Darcell) Langness, Kathy (David) Hoffer, Richard (Kimberly) Langness, many grandchildren , great-grandchildren, and great,great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday evening October 31, 2014 from 4-7 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 East Fountain Blvd in Colorado Springs. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Northeast Bible Chapel, 1722 McArthur Ave in Colorado Springs.
