Edna May
Edna C. May, age 92, longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on September 2, 2011. Edna was born on February 28, 1919 in Griswold, Iowa, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Alta Maude Kreamer. Edna and her husband Chester had farmed for many years in the Hamlin, Iowa area, and prior to moving to Colorado Springs area. Edna enjoyed hiking and being in the outdoors. She was a Methodist by faith. Edna is survived by her son; Philip and Wife Betty May, 2 grandchildren; Kelly Valdez and Shawn May, 3 great grandchildren; Kalie Valdez, Gabriel Valdez and Logan May. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester May, 2 sisters; Kathleen Kreamer and Elva Wolf, and 1 brother Frank Kreamer. Services will be held at 2:00, September 24th at Kessler Funeral Home at 234 W South Street, Exira, IA 50076. Donations for a memorial may be made to Good Samaritan Society, P.O. Box 38.
