Eileen Fleming

Eileen Theresa Fleming, age72, passed July 7, 2011 in Colorado Springs. Eileen was born May 25, 1939 in Lyndhurst, Ohio a daughter of the late James and Margaret McNulty Norton. Eileen graduated from Beaumont School for Girls, Cleveland Heights, Ohio where her poetry was published in The National High School Anthology. She received voice-training from Helen McGonagle and performed at many concerts. Eileen went on to Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and taught the third grade at St. Felicitas School in Richmond Heights, Ohio. Eileen loved being with her family. She enjoyed her Irish heritage, reminiscing and her family trips to Cape Cod and Geneva on the Lake. Eileen was very loved. She’ll always be remembered for her motherly love, her kindness, her generosity and her wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Colorado Springs.   Eileen is survived by her former husband James V. Fleming; her daughters, Mary (Bart) Lamport, Patricia Fleming and Margaret (Jeremy) Cuccuini; her sons, James (Tracey) Fleming, Daniel Fleming and Thomas (Barbara) Fleming; brothers, James (Mary Margaret) Norton, Neil (Theresa) Norton; sisters, Mary (Skip) Niklaus, Peg (Jack) McCarthy and Pat (George) Kempton; and six grandchildren, James Fleming, Kellie Fleming, Anna Lamport, Sean Fleming, Ryan Cuccuini and Kyle Cuccuini.   Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Colorado Springs.
