Ella Mae Lewis December 26, 1923 – May 23, 2013 Ella Mae Lewis passed away on May 23, 2013 in Colorado Springs. She was born on December 26, 1923 in Linneus, Missouri to James and Ilah (Pearson) Iberg. Ella Mae was married to A.R. Lewis on August 17, 1951. She has been a Colorado Springs resident since 1941. Ella Mae was a homemaker until the time that her children were grown. Then she went to work as a grocery clerk, retiring from Safeway. Among her interests and hobbies were flower gardening, quilting, baking, and card games with friends and family. Ella Mae is survived by her husband, A.R Lewis; her children: Jack and his wife, Kathy; Randy and his wife, Kathleen; Susie Lewis and Jerry Lewis. Also surviving is a brother, Jimmy Iberg, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11:00am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 701 N. 20th Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
