Frank Martinez Obituary

Frank Martinez of Colorado Springs passed away on February 3, 2014. He grew up and lived in Weld County, Colorado and worked in the agriculture industry. Later in years, Frank moved to Colorado Springs where he was self-employed and instrumental in constructing the US Air Force Academy, NORAD, Federal Missile Sites, Blue Mesa Reservoir and State of Colorado Heavy Highway infrastructures. Frank liked nature, birds, reading, writing, drawing, music, football and reminiscing about his childhood memories. He was a historian and a proud US Army veteran. Among Frank’s remarkable traits were his gift of generosity, his sense of humor and his endless good deeds to all. He is survived by his loving wife, Clorinda, his three children Joyce Martinez, Harry (Kathryn) Martinez, Edward (Amy) Martinez and three grandchildren, Gregory Jill and Terra. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. A Rosary will be at 9:30 am and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 2030 West Colorado Avenue, Colorado Springs.
