Franklin Dodson

Franklin Claude Dodson, age 57, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away at his residence on July 25, 2011. Frank was born on May 28, 1954, in Colorado Springs. Frank served in the U.S Navy during the Vietnam War and later worked as a Park Technician for the City of Colorado Springs for 19 ½ years. Frank loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing and especially golfing. He is survived by his wife, Trudy Dodson, and by his four children, twelve grandchildren, mother, Lavagan Dodson, and by three sisters and two brothers. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue in Colorado Springs. A reception will follow at Valley Hi Golf Club, 610 S. Chelton Rd.
