Gordon Leland Stokka 8-1-1918 to 5-16-2012 Gordon Leland Stokka passed away May 16, 2012 in Colorado Springs. He was born on August 1, 1918 in Cooperstown, North Dakota to the late Bernard and Kirsten (Loge) Stokka. Gordon loved to spend time with his family and friends. He had a true passion for woodworking. He is survived by his two sons, Terry L (Artha) Stokka and Cam (Susan) Stokka; two daughters, Darlis (Darwin) Anderson and Kari Jo (David) Pugh; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends. He will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce, on February 13, 2010; two brothers, Clifford and Stanley Stokka and three sisters, Doris Erickson, Agnes Jensen and Helen Hess. A Visitation will be 9:00 AM, Thursday, May 24, 2012 with the Funeral Service at 10:00 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 East Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Burial will be at 2:30 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
