Janette A. Roettjer Janette A. Roettjer, age 83, entered her heavenly home on January 11, 2014. She was born in Waverly, Iowa on August 5, 1930. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1949 and shortly thereafter earned her teacher certification from the State of Iowa. She married Wesley Roettjer of Waverly, Iowa on June 5, 1949 and has five children. She has been actively involved at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School for 52 years. Janette participated in many Bible study groups and ladies service organizations over those years. Janette moved from Waverly, Iowa to Colorado where worked in the banking industry for most of her life. She was a member of the Colorado Springs Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) where she served in various capacities, including president. She was preceded in death by her father, Verne Ressler; her mother, Etta (Frerichs) Ressler; her husband, Wesley; her son Daniel; her granddaughter Jackie Lobato. Janette is survived by her sister Betty and husband Bob Smith of Bettendorf, Iowa; her brother Ronald and wife Marilyn Ressler of Hudson, Iowa; her son, David and wife Pamela of Greenwood Village; daughter Kaye and husband Mike Robinson of Colorado Springs; daughter Kathleen and husband Jerry Lobato of Parker; son Mark and wife, Cathy of Petersburg, VA; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
