Joan Elizabeth Sandoval

Joan Sandoval passed away after a lengthy illness on October 17, 2015 at Penrose Hospital. Joan was born in Omaha, Nebraska and came to Colorado as a young girl. She grew up helping her family run the Manitou Incline. She married Jake Sandoval May 15, 1953. She is survived by her children William (Wilb) Sandoval, Barbara Bland, Robert Sandoval and Jake Sandoval; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her twin sister, Jean Strand. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Jake and her daughter, Rose.
