John Gardino

John Frank Gardino July 14, 1932 - June 17, 2017 John Gardino, 84, longtime Colorado Springs resident and Roofing Contractor, passed away peacefully at home on June 17, 2017. He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Frank and Adelaide (Lala) Gardino. He served in the Marine Corps and was a "Gold Card" member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. He was actively involved in promoting the sport of Rodeo, and helped sponsor the Kiddie Rodeo Revue. John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley, three daughters; Kathy Marcyniuk (Michael), Jeanne Hyder (John), Cheryl Murdock (Michael), three sons; John Gardino, Bob Gardino (Cathy), and Shawn Gardino, seven grandchildren, Zachariah, Amanda, Holly, Megan, Makayla, Hayley and Heather and two great-grandchildren, Leanna and Noah. He is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth West and Mary Puckett, and several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 1-3 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery following the funeral service. A Special Thank You and Sincere Appreciation to all the friends, loved ones and Pikes Peak Hospice for the caring support they provided during this past year.
