June Granville Ackerman April 10, 1924 – November 22, 2012   June G. Ackerman was born April 10, 1924 in London England to Herbert Scriven and Tena Raitt, and passed November 22, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.   June served as the office manager of the Colorado Springs Country Club for over 30 years. June had a great passion for dogs and other animals. She also loved helping out at the Colorado Springs Senior Center.   June was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Ackerman, both her parents, and her sister Pamela Scott.   June is survived by her two children; her son Brett Ackerman and her daughter Janene Ackerman. She is also survived by her brother in law Arthur Scott and her sister in law Jolane Shaffer and their families. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Colorado Springs Senior Center, 1514 North Hancock Avenue Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903. At June’s request there will be no services.
