Larry Hildebrand

Larry James Hildebrand, 58, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Hildebrand of Jackson, Michigan. He is survived by his daughters Angela of Colorado Springs, CO, and Allison of Cary, NC, along with his brother, Robert Hildebrand of Jenison, MI, sister, Carol Carothers (Jim) of Jackson, MI, and former wife Maria (Jim) French of Colfax, NC. He is also survived by his dear nieces and nephews. Originally from Jackson, MI, Larry was a graduate of Northwest High School where he was a pitcher for the 1975, 1976 varsity baseball team, and played the trumpet in the marching band. After high school, he attended Michigan State University, and received his BA in Advertising with a minor in Marketing prior to working many years as the District Manager for Wyeth Ayerest Pharmaceuticals. Larry enjoyed hiking with his daughters in his beloved Colorado, riding his motorcycle, cheering for the Detroit Tigers, MSU Spartans, and Michigan Wolverines, and had a genuine love for learning and teaching. A strong faith in God led him throughout his life, as he spent many years actively involved in church, and taught Bible study classes. Larry was a dedicated father, son, brother, husband, and a faithful and loving friend to all. He will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be held for Larry at Calvary Worship Center on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10 am. 501 Castle Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80904
