Laurie Ann Wojcinski, age 53, died suddenly at her home on February 9, 2014 due to heart complications. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 20, 1960. She has been a resident of Colorado Springs for 22 years. Laurie was greatly known for her cooking, baking, and generosity. She was a devoted military wife and loved to play bingo. Laurie leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Mark Wojcinski, her children Mrs. Valerie (Matthew) Payment, Mrs. Stephanie (Shaun) Moore, and Mark Alan Wojcinski; her grandchildren Damian, Adrianna, Alyssa, and Isaiah; her sister Betty Crocker, step-mom Carolyn Kohler, step brothers Christopher and Jeffery Palmer, her Aunt Peggy Brochu, uncle Raymond Overy, step-sister Pamela Meyer and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Laurie is preceded in death by her father Hubert Kohler, her mother Madonna Kohler and her brother Glenn Kohler. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be held on February 13, 2014 from 5-8pm and February 14, 2014 from 10am-12pm. Funeral services will be held directly at noon at Evergreen Funeral Home with the Interment at Evergreen Cemetery directly following the service.
