Lewis Green

Lewis E. Green passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Born March 12, 1928 in La Grande, Iowa he was employed by Heyse Roofing and School District 11. He married Betty June Steward on January 21, 1946. He is survived by daughters, Ethel Ragland (Butch) and Janet Degerstedt (Guy), grandchildren, Jonathan Ragland (Diana), Carrie Ragland and Olivia Degerstedt, and great-grandchildren, Travis Ragland and Charlotte Ragland, all of whom will miss him dearly. Lewis was a devoted husband and father and loved to spend his time tinkering in his shop and creating many different inventions. Visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2011 from 4-7 pm at Blunt Mortuary. Graveside service at Memorial Gardens Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Association requested.
