Loretta (Lorie) Emma Cover April 6, 1938 – January 25, 2011 Loretta (Lorie) Emma Cover, beloved, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on January 25, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on April 6, 1938 in Schuyler, Nebraska to Laddie and Alma (Sedlacek) Vacha. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Cindi (Rick) Ledbetter and Patty Cover; 4 sons, Alan (Sharon) Cover, Ron (Aida) Cover, Dennis Cover and Darren (Shelly) Cover; 2 sisters, Pat (Don) Novak and Carol Vacha; brother, Al (Linda) Vacha; 2 sister-in laws, Kathy Vacha and Beverly Vacha; brother-in law, Bill Zelinski; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and many extended family and friends to numerous to mention. Lorie was preceded in death by her parents, Laddie and Alma Vacha; husband of 50 years, Rexell; 4 brothers, Marvin, Laddie Jr., David and Donnie; 2 sisters, Alice Delaet Zelinski and Betty and Jeff Hawke brother-in law Leroy (Jack) Delaet; and one great granddaughter, Elizabeth Cover. Lorie loved and valued spending time with her family. She enjoyed organizing family gatherings, whether cooking meals, baking goodies, or playing cards. Her unconditional love was the glue that held the family together. She was dearly loved by all her family and friends and will be forever missed. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church 5354 S. Highway 85/87 Security, Colorado 80911. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Spring. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Evercare Hospice 5450 Tech Center Drive Suite 120 Colorado Springs, Co 80919.
