Louise Butler September 27, 1931 – March 10, 2012 Louise Butler passed away on March 10, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Louise was born on September 27, 1931 in Clark County, Mississippi to William and Loney Doris Godwin. She married Johnny Butler on March 6, 1950. After many years of travel with the Army, they moved to this area in 1964. Louise loved to cook and was devoted to her family and her cats. Her grandchildren will always hold fond memories of the rice pilaf she cooked for them when they came to visit. Louise is survived by her husband, Johnny; daughters Caroline Lester and Peggy Angel; sons Johnny Butler, Jr., Jerry Butler, Donald Butler and Danny Butler. She is also survived by a brother, James Godwin; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Louise will be missed by her family, friends and her cats “Bear”, “Little One” and “Koochie”. There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a Funeral Service following at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
