Lyndon Copeland Colorado Springs, Colorado Obituary

Lyndon Copeland

Lyndon Copeland entered this life on March 25, 1963. He went back home on December 15, 2013. He was one of the most compassionate and generous people one could ever encounter. Lyndon was the kind of person who could get to know someone’s entire life story in less than five minutes of meeting them. He was an extremely talented musician, vocalist, producer, and athlete. He was a Colorado Springs native and a Harrison High School graduate. Lyndon also worked in commercial maintenance for the Masciarelli Corporation and Associates. He is survived by his mother Bernadine Copeland, his wife of 23 years, Sandra Dolan, stepdaughter, Katie Dolan, one step grandchild, “Hunter”, who knew him affectionately as “Papa” and three siblings; Lorenzo Copeland Jr., David Bernard Copeland and Doriena Susette Longmire. Lyndon was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Copeland Sr. He has a host of family and friends who love, admire and appreciate his strong, focused confident (yet caring), genuine, uniquely magnetic, funny, animated, loud, crazy, energetic and explosive personality. We will all miss the warmth of this lovable, charismatic, opinionated, courageous, humble, phenomenal old soul whom had such a “gift of gab”. He would make everyone feel special even if he spent a very brief amount of time with you he was always laughing, joking and being the “LIFE” of what didn’t even have to be a party to feel like one. Visitation is Thursday, December 19, 2013, Evergreen Funeral, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., from 4:00-7:00pm. Memorial Services are Friday, December 20th, Evergreen Funeral Home at 2:00pm. Repast is at 4:00pm, Deerfield Hills Community Center, 4290 Deerfield Hills Road, 80916.
