Lynette Higgins   October 26, 1967 – January 27, 2012   Lynette Higgins passed away on January 27, 2012, surrounded by her husband, mother and brother, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her loving, generous spirit, infectious smile, and insatiable zest for life will never be forgotten by the many people who knew and loved her.  She is survived by her husband Daniel, her two beautiful children Melia (7) and John (5), her mother Susan, her brother James, as well as a multitude of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.  Though Lynette always enjoyed travel, music, dance, and good times with friends, nothing brought more joy and pride to her heart than her two beautiful children. She filled each and every day devoted to loving and nurturing them. She lives on in the lives of everyone she touched, and nowhere more than in the hearts of her family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 22 West Kiowa St., Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80903.   Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
