Maria Downey (88) passed away February 10, 2014 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Maria was born January 16, 1926 in Czechoslovakia to Josef and Marie Babicka who preceded her in death. Maria worked as an electronics inspector for Ampex for many years and attended Radiant Church with her husband Burg Downey who also preceded Maria in death. Maria is survived by her daughter Gina Carneal, (Larry) and son Mike Downey (Anita). Arrangements made through Evergreen Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, CO.
